Mas & Celuk

Mas is a small village just south of Ubud, known for their woodcarvings. Mas is the home of the renowned Nyana & Tilem Gallery. So if you’re looking for souvenirs or artful woodwork, this is the place. 

Celuk is the major centre for goldsmiths and silversmiths in Bali. The main road is filled with galleries and workshops on these art forms. The craftsmen are known for their skills and their industriousness. Almost all of the households in the village are homes to jeweller families and each Celuk villager possesses artistic skills in developing and executing intricate designs and varying patterns.
